"The highlights of Oriundo were the tranquility inside the resort, the spacious, well-decorated villa with local crafts, the Mayan coffee experience after an early morning exclusive visit to the cenote next to the hotel, the savory breakfast at Mestizo restaurant inside the compound, as well as the cordial staff who made our stay memorable. "Loved it! Truly a luxurious experience. Only seven villas all in all, very attentive staff, great breakfast, reasonable prices for extras, little things like the minibar being for free and of course the private cenote hour. Only some small downsides: the air conditioning is pretty loud, the amount of hot water each villa is allowed to use is not enough to fill the hot tub in a comfortable way and the cowboy steak for dinner wasn’t that good.
